I am letting you know that this is a rant. I am going to vent because of all the stupidity that I have been seeing online. I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but here goes:
I HATE POLITICS.
I sincerely do. It splits people apart and only allows those who are corrupt to run the offices. Am I saying that all politicians are corrupt? No. However, the only ones you are hearing about are those who are more willing to line their pockets rather than help the people who need it. Those who do good are to far to few.
There is also one other thing I want people to understand before I continue about the travesty that was this election. I am not standing by either candidate. Do I insult them? No. I express distaste for how they run things and quirks that bother me. Do I go on a rant and insult them? Do I curse them out? NO.
I think Hillary is a liar who would have brought refugees in that would turn us into Europe-women worried about walking in the street because they might be attacked. And again to clarify,(because I know how people love to take this things out of context), I do not think all refugees are bad. You see many of these people are good and kind and willing to lend a helping hand when it is needed. She is someone who so many charges have been brought against, but yet nothing seems to stick. This makes a person wonder what exactly goes on behind closed doors. She is a smooth speaker and knows to take a situation and use it to her advantage. She seems to be able to insult and demoralize while speaking about how great of a nation we all are. However, she is a strong woman in an environment that is quite full of testosterone.
Nor do I like the way Trump works as well. You would think that the man would learn when to close his mouth and actually act smart. He is not a complete idiot after all. His talk and banter have people going nuts because they equate him talking with actually completing the action. They call the man a bigot, racist and a bully to name a few insults that have passed his way. Now while he acts like that, we see in his daily life that that is not always the case. We see that many of his employees love him and he treats them with respect, (including women and minorities as well). His children are also a great example. They are respectful and well groomed and they love their father.
My rant focuses on the stupidity of the public. Stupidity may be a strong word, but seriously people, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Quit fixating on what is done! Quit wishing for a president whose only major accomplishment was Obamacare. Many of you were not crazy about him towards the end of his presidency, but suddenly he is your best friend! (Personally, I never liked him, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.)
As much as I hate to say it, Trump may actually do something right, but instead of waiting and seeing what he may or may not do, you close your eyes and only see your narrow vision. You only seem to focus on hate, the hate which so many of you always fight against….. Well it looks like politics brings out the ugly side of you pretty people. I look at some people’s posts and I just want to slap you people so hard. The hate I see is so sad and ridiculous. Celebrities are crying crocodile tears in the Nile and are acting like 5 year old children.
GET OVER YOURSELVES!
This is the life we live. This is the comedy/fantasy world that we are living in. All this hate and anger towards things that do not go our way. Get over yourself. Teach your future generation that they can grow up to be better than the previous generation, that they can accomplish more than even you as their parents could. Stop focusing on your narrow vision, and open your mind to the reality.
This is our world. This is where we live. Instead of complaining of what has happened, focus on what you can do to change the world. Focus on what you can do to make it a better place.
And if you are a woman who wants their girls to know that one day if they want they can be president, encourage them. Tell them to create ways to help people and that they can change the world with the impact that they have. In addition, if they ever do hear Trump and they are confused why he talks the way he talks, tell your kids this, “Someday this man will leave the oval office and someone better will take his place. Someone who talks well and acts well and thinks about what they can do to help the people.
I guess my point is that everyone SHOULD GET OVER THEMSELVES! Grow up and move on. This man will be gone in either four or eight years. His presidency will affect us in one way or another. However the main effect will be when people get their heads out of the sand and start treating others with respect. Stop bashing people you barely know and stop bashing those who support them. It is ridiculous and trivial as well as hurtful.
*Allow me to explain something that was said in the above piece: Expressing distaste is not and does not have to be insulting. You are indicating something you dislike something about someone or an idea, but you are not outright stating that you have a HATRED for them. Everyone in the world is different people will disagree. But there is no need to have an all out war.
